Jil Sander and PUMA Expand Their Collaboration Into Apparel for Fall/Winter 2026

Jil Sander and PUMA are expanding their longstanding partnership into apparel for Fall/Winter 2026, introducing a reworked T7 tracksuit and a relaxed long-sleeve top alongside updated versions of the Speedcat and Suede sneakers. Under the creative direction of Simone Bellotti, the Jil Sander x PUMA Fall/Winter 2026 collection brings the German luxury label’s minimalist aesthetic to a broader selection of sportswear, combining archival silhouettes with elevated materials and streamlined details.

The collection marks the first time the partnership has extended into ready-to-wear, moving past its established focus on footwear. Campaign imagery places the pieces in an overgrown green field dotted with wildflowers, contrasting the clean lines of the garments with an untamed natural setting. The visual direction reinforces the collection’s balance between urban sportswear and a more relaxed, outdoors-oriented sensibility.

The T7 Tracksuit Leads the Apparel Debut

The centerpiece of the apparel offering is a redesigned version of PUMA’s T7 tracksuit, originally introduced in 1968 and named after its signature seven-centimeter Formstrip. Bellotti reworks the archival silhouette with a boxy track jacket and tapered trousers, shifting the familiar sportswear set toward a more structured, contemporary fit.

Both pieces are crafted from an exclusive bi-stretch wool developed for Jil Sander. The fabric combines flexibility and fluid movement with a structured finish, while its breathable construction and natural temperature-regulating properties add practical functionality. The tracksuit arrives in a custom Club Navy colorway, finished with a brushed silver branded zipper pull and co-branded T7 woven labels.

A relaxed, boxy long-sleeve top in PUMA White completes the apparel lineup. Made from a cotton and recycled polyester blend, the piece maintains the collection’s understated approach to everyday sportswear.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collection retains the recognizable foundations of PUMA’s sporting heritage while introducing the precise proportions and refined fabric choices associated with Jil Sander. Rather than relying on prominent graphics or oversized branding, the apparel focuses on silhouette, construction, and material quality.

Speedcat Returns in Black and White Leather

Footwear remains central to the partnership, with the Speedcat returning as a reissue of the original Jil Sander and PUMA collaborative design. The low-profile, motorsport-inspired sneaker will be available in all-black and all-white leather, maintaining its streamlined shape while elevating its materials.

The updated model features an artisanal leather heel detail developed by Bellotti and a full leather lining. These additions bring a more considered finish to the familiar silhouette without compromising the Speedcat’s distinctive proportions.

The return also reconnects the latest release with the collaboration’s earlier footwear experiments, which brought luxury materials and minimalist design to established PUMA models. For Fall/Winter 2026, the Speedcat continues that approach through a restrained palette and carefully executed construction.

PUMA Suede Receives a Streamlined Update

The PUMA Suede also joins the collection with a more minimal interpretation of the classic sneaker. The updated version replaces the model’s familiar construction with premium white leather, a refined outsole, and concealed lacing for a cleaner appearance.

Offered exclusively in white, the sneaker emphasizes simplicity over contrast, allowing its materials and streamlined shape to define the design. Alongside the Speedcat, it demonstrates how the collaboration continues to revisit PUMA’s archive through Jil Sander’s understated design language.

Together, the two footwear styles complement the new apparel offering, creating a more cohesive collection that brings the partnership’s aesthetic beyond individual sneakers and into coordinated dressing.

A Partnership Revisited Under Simone Bellotti

Jil Sander and PUMA first collaborated in 1998, when the luxury label reinterpreted athletic footwear through premium materials and a more refined design perspective. Their early partnership came at a time when collaborations between luxury fashion houses and sportswear brands were considerably less common. The relationship concluded in 2006 before returning following Bellotti’s appointment as Jil Sander creative director in 2025.

The Jil Sander x PUMA Fall/Winter 2026 collection represents a significant development in that renewed partnership. Its expansion into apparel builds on the brands’ shared history while establishing a broader direction for future releases, with Bellotti bringing the same attention to proportion and material to sportswear as to footwear.

The collection launches globally on October 23, 2026, through Jil Sander and PUMA stores and their respective online platforms. Select global stockists will begin carrying the pieces on October 24.
