The fast and fashionable life of celebrities and influencers has been put on hold since the global coronavirus pandemic but you already knew that. As the lockdown starts to get eased in places like Nigeria, Ghana and parts of the United States, stepping out now means adding a face mask to our outfits and as expected, some of the biggest male celebrities and influencers in Africa have been showing us just how to do it in top style! black men’s style 2020

Last week, Tanzanian mainstream musician Diamond Platnumz looked hip in his signature athleisure themed outfit. He was spotted wearing a fitted red t-shirt and a pair of black cargo track pants, bringing the outfit together with a pair of white sneakers. He further accessorized with some silver link necklaces, hand chains and rings, and of course, his signature diamond encrusted wristwatch. Following the directive of the Tanzanian government, he wore a matching face mask. #MaskOn

Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson looked cool and dapper in his check print two-piece jacket and trousers coordinating set. He layered the jacket over a graphic white t-shirt which perfectly complemented the white and black set and white sneakers. He accessorized with a pair of mirror sunglasses and a black face mask. #MaskOn

Pastor Paul Adefarasin – Nigeria

Last week brought a new addition to our best-dressed list as Nigeria’s Pastor Paul Adefarasin shared an effortless lockdown look that had us thinking we’ve all been doing “cool” fashion the wrong way. The swaggered up look almost distracted us from the message he shared in his image caption but the Spirit sure kept us focused.

Overall, some of our fave celebrities and influencers definitely came through with stylish masks, lockdown, throwback and editorial looks that re-energized us and had us looking forward to even more fashionable days when “normal” returns.
