“All’s Fair” Season 2 Trailer Teases New Betrayals and High-Stakes Drama

The “All’s Fair” Season 2 trailer opens with a line about vengeance being a fierce game, immediately establishing the tone for the legal drama’s return. Hulu is promising a considerably higher-stakes continuation of the story surrounding Grant, Ronson, and Greene, and the footage backs that up. The legal comedy, which critics panned but audiences watched anyway, drew 3.2 million views in its first three days. The series returns November 4, with three episodes dropping simultaneously before new episodes arrive weekly on Wednesdays.

Season 1 ended on a particularly messy note. Glenn Close’s Dina Standish was taken away in handcuffs and charged with the murder of the man who assaulted Emerald at a club. Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of those events, with Dina apparently free again and tensions inside the firm escalating. Meanwhile, Sarah Paulson’s Carrington Lane continues her mission to dismantle the firm from within, setting the stage for another round of personal vendettas, professional rivalries, and courtroom chaos.

What the “All’s Fair” Season 2 Trailer Reveals About the Firm

The new footage reveals fresh allegiances forming inside Grant, Ronson and Greene, while existing friendships come under strain. A shocking revelation threatens the firm’s future, and the attorneys face their most outrageous divorce cases yet. New romances emerge as old flames return, adding another layer of complications to an already volatile professional environment.

Paulson’s Carrington Lane commands much of the trailer, marking a notable shift from Season 1, when Kim Kardashian’s Allura Grant occupied the center of the story. Carr’s progression from antagonist to a more complicated figure is one of the season’s most intriguing developments. Her determination to undermine the firm suggests that the biggest threats may come from within rather than from opposing counsel.

Close’s Dina also returns without the handcuffs, although the trailer offers few details about what happened between the Season 1 finale and the new episodes. That unanswered question leaves room for speculation without giving away the circumstances surrounding her apparent release.

Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close Lead the Returning Cast

The principal ensemble returns for the second season. Kardashian reprises her role as Allura Grant, alongside Naomi Watts as Liberty Ronson, Niecy Nash-Betts as Emerald Greene, Teyana Taylor as Milan, Matthew Noszka as Chase Munroe, and Glenn Close as Dina Standish. Paulson also returns as Carrington Lane, whose growing influence appears central to the season’s direction.

Cauã Reymond joins the series as a new regular, playing a bodyguard whose presence inside the firm immediately complicates its existing dynamics. His addition introduces another character into an environment already shaped by competing loyalties and personal grievances.

The guest cast also expands considerably. Denise Richards, Jaime Pressly, and Margo Martindale are among the confirmed additions. Dorinda Medley, known for the “Real Housewives” franchise, also joins the lineup. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alumni Bob the Drag Queen, Monet X Change, and Daya Betty round out the new arrivals.

The expanded roster reflects Ryan Murphy’s continued appetite for high-profile casting. Celebrity appearances have become part of the series’ appeal, adding another element to a show that thrives on heightened performances, extravagant styling, and deliberately over-the-top storytelling.

Why Hulu Is Bringing “All’s Fair” Back for Season 2

Season 1 received a largely unfavorable critical response, with reviews criticizing its campy tone, overwrought dialogue, and apparent indifference to realism. Audience interest, however, told a different story. The series became Hulu Originals’ biggest scripted series premiere in three years, making a second season a logical move for the streaming platform.

The show’s appeal lies partly in its willingness to embrace excess rather than pursue conventional legal drama. Its divorce cases provide the framework, but interpersonal conflict, extravagant fashion, and unpredictable character dynamics often take precedence over courtroom realism. Season 2 appears ready to preserve that formula while raising the stakes.

Fashion remains another defining element. Kardashian’s involvement in the show’s wardrobe extends beyond the screen, as demonstrated by the Season 1 charity auction of costumes and other pieces, which raised $247,200 for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. The production’s attention to clothing contributes to its visual identity, distinguishing it from more restrained legal dramas.

Paulson and Close also bring a level of performance that elevates the material, particularly when the plotting veers into absurdity. Their characters offer some of the show’s most compelling sources of tension, and their continued presence gives the new season room to develop beyond its headline-grabbing premise.

“All’s Fair” Season 2 Release Date and Streaming Details

“All’s Fair” Season 2 premieres November 4, exclusively on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The season begins with three episodes released on the same day, followed by weekly installments every Wednesday.

With returning rivalries, new cast members, and a central mystery surrounding Dina’s fate, the second season looks set to push the firm’s already fractured relationships further toward collapse. Whether the series can win over its critics remains to be seen, but Hulu is clearly betting that audiences are ready for another round of high-stakes legal drama.
