Every year, people travel from all corners of South Africa and even the continent to converge in Durban for the annual Vodacom Durban July weekend. This year’s revealed theme was: “It is time,” and celebrities weren’t shy about showing off with glitz and glamour.
Being one of South Africa’s biggest social events, it usually turns out to be a major social and fashion gathering. Attendees at the 122nd Vodacom Durban July which held at the Greyville Racecourse literally put their best fashion foot forward to dazzle, with the theme in mind. The theme challenged racegoers to dress according to the style of the past, present or future. In response, South Africa’s top fashionistas came out in full force and the horses were somewhat overshadowed.
The newest Misses South Africa Tamaryn Green, Thulisa Keyi, and Thando Thabethe were among the many celebrities who came to enjoy the festivities and to socialise with their peers.
