Two weeks into the new year and the Nigerian music industry is already reaching sizzling temperatures. Rising Star Zlatan keeps flourishing on the musical scene just like his colleague and friend Naira Marley. Kicking off 2020 in high spirits, Zlatan has dropped his first single of the year in the form of a hot banger titled Quilox.
Other top musical acts have also recently dropped some equally banging songs and as always, we’re making sure you’re grooving to the best!

1. Zlatan – Quilox
This Mansa Jabulani and Rexxie-produced record is named after one of the biggest night club in Lagos and Africa as a whole. Zlatan recorded Quilox after the club’s recent saga with the Lagos State government few weeks ago.
The budding music entrepreneur unveiled his record imprint ‘Zanku Records’ a few days ago, following a successful streak last year. Also, the street-hop artiste whose Zanku dance step was one of the highlights of 2019, has promised to maintain the tempo this year. Expect more from him.
2. DJ Neptune ft Victor AD – Tomorrow
Multi-talented disc jockey, DJ Neptune teams up with South South reality singer, Victor AD to serve us with “Tomorrow.” The duo preach that it is a new year and decade and in that spirit it is very important to spread love and happiness because no one knows. They deliver this track to wipe away our self anger, worries and negativity. So we all can set off 2020 with a positive energy.
3. Dr Dolor ft. Nikita – Figo
Sometime in April last year, Dr. Dolor signed Nikita to Dr. Dolor Entertainment. Since then, Nikita’s fans have longed for a new song which has finally arrived as a hippy anthem produced by Jaysynths Beatz.
4. Gangsta – Darkoo ft Davido, Tion Wayne and SL
British Afrobeats pioneer, Darkoo has released the remix to his previous smash hit single titled “Gangsta.” For the remix, Darkoo teams up with Nigerian superstar, Davido, North London rapper, Tion Wayne and British rap act, SL.
Darkoo, Davido, Tion Wayne and SL combine effort to pull out a ditty song which is set to take over music charts in the United Kingdom.
5. In my bed – Rotimi ft Wale
#NigeriaLinkUp. Nigerian American-based artiste, Rotimi dishes out a new song titled “In My Bed” featuring Wale. The new song serves as Track 1 off his recently released project titled, “The Beauty Of Becoming EP.“
The new EP is a 7 track compilation which features appearances of other talented artists such as Akon and Afro B.
