We can’t get tired of chronicling Toke Makinwa today – hey, it’s still her birthday. So Toke has been hinting on ‘Becoming’ by launching a countdown which landed right on her birthday. In a new YouTube documentary, directed by award-winning director Kemi Adetiba, the top vlogger presents ‘Toke Makinwa on Becoming‘. We may have known that it was her birthday before now, but this new documentary really crowns the day.
From her embattled marriage to moving on, last year was a pretty rough one for the media influencer. The birthday girl handled her personal struggles so well and once described her trying times as a season of ‘self-discovery’. There’s obviously a connection between her self-discovery season and ‘On Becoming‘.
The documentary is centered around her life story; who she is now and who she must become, but we don’t yet have a full knowledge of what Toke is Becoming. The video serves as a prelude of what’s to come soon. We look forward to a full insight.
