After teasing us for days on end via Instagram, Wana Sambo finally releases the The Wana Sambo Edit for the month of May 2017 titled ‘SOUL’ and also used the opportunity to introduce its new art director Daniel Obasi.
according to the brand, the collection was inspired by an emotional and intense look into retrospective fashion. The Edit infuses fashion with colonial history by traveling back in time to the sensuality and feminine grace of the retro age, but allowing room for modern silhouettes and cuts.
The collection features A-line cuts, laced fabrics, asymmetrical hemlines, bodycon and tie backs. Periodically, Wana Sambo releases edits like #WSHolidayEdit, #WSBloggersEdit, #WSNollywoodEdit to collaborate with fashion bloggers and actresses within and outside the country.
