4. Tory Lanez’s missing gun claim dismissed by California Attorney General
The state has officially debunked Tory Lanez’s lie that the gun he shot Megan Thee Stallion with is missing.

Tory Lanez’s claim that the gun involved in the July 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion had gone missing was officially dismissed by the California Attorney General’s office. In a recent court filing, the Attorney General’s office stated that Lanez’s legal team failed to provide any supporting evidence to back their claim that the LAPD had misplaced the weapon. The filing described the assertion as “demonstrably false,” with Lanez’s attorneys unable to produce the necessary documentation to substantiate their allegation.
Further backing the dismissal, the LAPD provided a declaration confirming that the firearm, along with related evidence including the magazine, casings, and fragments, remains in their custody. Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, also rejected Lanez’s claim, affirming that the weapon is available for forensic and DNA testing. This development comes after Lanez’s legal team petitioned in October, arguing that the gun’s disappearance prevented further examination of critical evidence.

Chelsea captain Reece James has suffered a setback after picking up another hamstring injury during training, Blues manager Enzo Maresca confirmed. The 24-year-old, who missed a significant portion of last season due to hamstring surgery, had only recently returned to action after a lengthy recovery. James will now be unavailable for Chelsea’s upcoming match against Leicester on Saturday, though Maresca played down fears of a long-term absence. The manager stated that James had felt “something small” in training, and while the club isn’t certain how long he will be sidelined, they are hopeful for a swift recovery.
While James is the only confirmed injury for Chelsea, Maresca expressed caution regarding other players following international duty. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are not expected to be fully match-fit for Saturday’s game, with the duo having only one training session before the match. However, Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto, and Romeo Lavia are all available, despite withdrawing from international duty last week. Maresca is optimistic James will return soon, although it’s unlikely he will be ready for next Thursday’s Conference League match.
