an you possibly think of anything so potent in melting a frozen heart quite like a Black girl living her best life while serving some serious slay? Yeah, neither can we. Last week, there was no place for ice as these ladies went about their daily activities embodying glam, grace, and everything in between. From the Wearable Art Gala in California to movie premieres in several locations, our hearts and minds stayed glued as black women enthralled us with their individualized take on beauty. top celebrity makeup.

The Looks

Makeup

Last week, the WACO Theatre Center gave a nod to Harlem Nights with its Wearable Art Gala in Santa Monica. For the event, celebs were tasked with resurrecting the extra glam decades of the 1920s-1950s, and Keke Palmer fulfilled the assignment. The actress embodied old Hollywood glam shimmering in dark tones that resulted in a dang sexy face beat. Her burgundy lips paired nicely with her midnight smokey eyes and rosy cheeks, a reminiscence of the extravagant ’20s.

Meanwhile, Yara Shahidi made a case for a lighter dose of red, but in no way less sexy. Her bold pout gave a heavy hit to her extra subtle face beat as though to remind us that you don’t necessarily have to go full glam to make an impact. The subtleness of the makeup offered more than enough room to appreciate her dewy skin. top celebrity makeup.

Hair

While makeup was a sweet balance between soft and dramatic, celebs in the hair department chose the latter, howbeit in varying degrees. For instance, Ciara opted for full-fledged platinum in a choppy layered hairdo with a whispy fringe styled by Cesar Deleon Ramirez. The look highlighted her prominent jawline while flattering her skin tone. Perhaps, platinum should be the color of choice for the coming winter.

Elsewhere, Nigeria’s Temi Otedola played to win in a burnt ginger hair do peppered with varying sizes of beads. The interesting style added a hip-hop vibe that perfectly complemented her denim-on-denim ensemble.
