Our style inspiration must come from somewhere and unless you’re brave enough to snag your inspiration straight from the runway, celebrities and influencers are your next best bet. So as usual, we’ve rounded up the best dressed African male celebrities we spotted saw last week for your inspiration.
As you know, the world of fashion – and other industries – is going through an awkward lay-low phase. Last week, celebrities resorted to sharing throwback images and at-home casual style takes as the lockdown, stipulated by governments in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus, continued.
Nigerian TV Host and presenter Taymesan joined the throwback gang as he shared an image rocking a bright-colored patterned suit which he layered over a sky blue shirt. For footwear, he went with a pair of black leather oxfords and further accessorized with a pair of sunglasses.
South African actor Zamani Mbatha also embraced patterns as he shared a traditional-inspired two-piece suit. He complemented the colourful outfit with a pair of white sneakers that brought a refreshing athleisure flair to the look.
From Tobi Bakre’s all-black Agbada look to Tshego Koke’s colorful street style ensemble, there was a rich variety of menswear fashion in the dapper looks we fell in love with last week.
