WWhenever I think of him, the song ‘Classic man’ quickly comes to my head and he sure is one heck of a classic man! In case you are wondering, I am referring to none other than international music act Jidenna Theodore Mobisson.
Jidenna is a classic man through and through and his fashion style is so appealing that it has stolen the hearts of men and women alike. He once said that he is heavily inspired by the Harlem Renaissance with hints of traditional West African designs hence his incorporation of African wax print, particularly Ankara into most of his outfits.
With a style inspiration that dates way back to the 19th century and hit tracks that make you hit the dance floor instantaneously, you would agree with me that Jidenna is a breath of fresh air in today’s fashion and entertainment world where too many artists would rather conform to what’s trendy and popular than create their own unique style and identity.
I particularly love how Jidenna has adopted the Ankara trend in totality and continues to show the gents more ways than one to rock Ankara and how to do it looking seriously dapper. When it comes to his trademark look, he stays loyal to fitted suits with straight leg cropped pants and signature walking sticks along with other accessories that speak to his heritage as an Igbo-born Nigerian-American.
