Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are finally married! The superstar gymnast shared the news on social media on Saturday, April 22. In a series of photos, the newlyweds are seen beaming with that “just married” glow as they flash their pearly whites for the camera. “I do. Officially Owens,” wrote the 26-year-old Olympian.

The athlete donned a white, flowy gown with a scrappy back. Owens, 27, wore a tan suit. As if the romantic snapshots were not enough to prove how thrilled she is to be married, her name change to Biles Owens certainly makes it undeniable that she is overjoyed to become a Mrs. In an equally heartwarming post, the Houston Texans safety declared his bride “my person, forever.” A close look at a photo of the officiant signing their marriage license reveals that their ceremony took place on Friday, April 21.

3. South Africa: Bonang Matheba gives life update

Since launching the first episode on her channel showing behind-the-scenes footage from her collaboration with Steve Madden, fans have been expecting more. In a recent interview, Bonang Matheba said she and her team “had to put it on hold because our country was mourning,” but said she was ready to air her next episode on April 28 as she had been traveling to different places creating content. “I travel quite a lot, I’ve prioritized my traveling, my days are different. I shoot for B*Dazzled, sometimes I don’t, I’m dating now,” she said.

“I have been working, I know the BForce have been annoyed with me because they feel I’ve been quiet and not sharing, but I’ve gone much quieter and that’s only because I’m 35. The older you grow, the quieter you become, and that’s because I did all the shouting and dancing when I was 20,” she added.

On Twitter, Bonang recently revealed she was shooting the second episode in Cape Town, saying juggling work and a relationship was another factor that delayed the content. “I’m in Cape Town, shooting episode two. Askies, had to pause many things due to unforeseen circumstances, please bare with me. Kea jola also, so laziness,” she wrote.

Lionel Messi has added three more awards to his overflowing trophy cabinet as he continues to bask in a season of success. Speculation surrounding Messi’s potential transfer back to his beloved Barcelona is rife. However, he got a welcome break from the European transfer rumor mill at the 2022 International Football History and Statistics Federation (IFFHS) Awards, where he picked up three trophies: IFFHS World’s Best Player, IFFHS World’s Best Playmaker, and IFFHS World’s Best International Goal Scorer. Not a bad return. Posting a picture of his haul on Instagram, Messi wrote: “It was an honor to receive from the International Football History and Statistics Federation (IFFHS) these three awards for 2022… Thank you!”

Since moving to Paris, Lionel Messi may not have quite replicated the sparkling club form he was known for at Barcelona, but his goal tally is still remarkable, and in 2022-23 he’s still been able to enhance his image as arguably the greatest footballer in the history of the game. His dazzling talent and understated leadership skills were central to Argentina’s iconic World Cup win, and he’s added to the coveted trophy with a variety of individual honors, including this latest raft at the IFFHS Awards.
