The NBA is taking things globally for their upcoming halftime show at the 2023 All-Star Game. This year, the league tapped Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema to anchor the Afrobeats-themed performance this Sunday night, February 19, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Along with the trio of Afrobeats stars, Post Malone will kick things off with a medley of hits at the show’s start. Jewel will perform the National Anthem, while Fast X star Vin Diesel will lead the player introductions for the newly named NBA All-Stars. The league will also honor LeBron James for breaking the scoring record two weeks ago.

Before Sunday, the NBA will host a number of events leading up to the big night’s festivities, including this Friday’s (Feb. 17) Ruffles Celebrity Game. A slew of musicians will play during this year’s outing, including Janelle Monae, 21 Savage, Cordae, Ozuna, Kane Brown, Nicky Jam, and more.

Cassper Nyovest says he will be out of the country when late rapper AKA’s family, friends, and fans commemorate his life at the Sandton Convention Center on Friday. Taking to his Twitter timeline, Cassper replied to a Twitter user who asked if he was going to AKA’s memorial service. “Unfortunately, I’ll be out of the country for work, but if I was around I would’ve gone. Multihyphenate talent Ice-T is slated to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in just a few days. According to the Walk of Fame’s official website, the rapper-turned-Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star is scheduled to have his star installed on February 17. He has since reacted to the news with a post on his Instagram account, acknowledging the unlikeliness of his story. “When I think back about all the times I was arrested in Hollywood…. This is a trip..” he captioned under a picture of himself.

Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez told the press that “Ice-T is a cultural icon and a success both in the music and television industries. His fans will be very excited to see their favorite performer placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” Ice-T’s Walk of Fame ceremony will reportedly include appearances by fellow rapper Chuck D as well as “Law & Order” producer Dick Wolf.

5. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly ‘meets’ with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to discuss Neymar transfer

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi have reportedly met to discuss a transfer for Brazil superstar Neymar. PSG are exploring offloading their star forward, and, according to reports, Chelsea are a potential suitor, solidifying their interest with an informal meeting with Al-Khelaifi on Tuesday.

The Blues were reportedly in for Neymar last summer, with Thomas Tuchel exploring the possibility of reuniting with a player he coached for nearly two years. But the Ligue 1 leaders held on to the Brazilian. Conflicting reports claim PSG doesn’t currently plan on selling Neymar and that the two owners only met in passing in the French capital.
