5 Upcoming Pedro Pascal Movies We Can’t Wait To See

Pedro Pascal’s upcoming movies are nothing short of promising—as one would rightly expect. Maybe it’s his quiet charisma, maybe it’s that leathery voice that seamlessly blends menace with warmth—or maybe it’s just the undeniable fact that he’s become Hollywood’s most unexpected heartthrob. The man who brought us Oberyn Martell and Din Djarin is now headlining more projects than our streaming queues can handle.

With a career trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down, Pedro is charging into 2025 with a lineup of roles destined to leave fans craving sequels—or perhaps even prequels. From heart-wrenching dramas to high-octane superhero spectacles, the Chilean-American actor is poised to dominate screens in 2025 and well beyond.

Here are five upcoming Pedro Pascal projects we’re looking forward to…

#1. Materialists (June 13)

Pedro Pascal steps into one of his most buzzworthy movie roles yet with Materialists—a sharp, stylish romantic comedy directed by Celine Song, the visionary behind Past Lives. After her Oscar-nominated debut, Song returns with a fresh, modern take on love, ambition, and the tangled web of human connection.

In Materialists, Pascal plays Harry Castillo, a wealthy, charismatic businessman drawn to Lucy—a high-powered matchmaker caught in a messy love triangle with her persistent ex-boyfriend. Starring alongside Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans, this star-studded ensemble promises electric chemistry and a clever exploration of modern relationships.

#2. Eddington (July 18)

Amid the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, the small town of Eddington, New Mexico, becomes the backdrop for a gripping tale of political tension and social upheaval. Directed by Ari Aster—celebrated for his unsettling films like Hereditary and MidsommarEddington delves into the complexities of power, identity, and the human psyche during a global crisis.

Set in May 2020, the story follows Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) and Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal) as they grapple with the challenges of leading a community through the pandemic’s early days. When a local protest spirals into violence, the town is thrust into chaos, and the already fragile relationship between Cross and Garcia devolves into a tense standoff. As fear and uncertainty grip the townspeople, they are forced to confront their own biases—setting off a chain of events that will forever change Eddington.

#3. The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25)

After years of trial and error in capturing the essence of Marvel’s first family of superheroes, the studio is finally giving them the reboot they truly deserve. The Fantastic Four: First Steps marks a fresh beginning—one that promises to recapture the magic that made the comic book versions so memorable and iconic.

In this long-awaited movie revival, Pedro Pascal steps into the legendary role of Reed Richards—the brilliant scientist known for his uncanny ability to stretch beyond limits. Meanwhile, Vanessa Kirby takes on the role of Sue Storm, whose knack for vanishing makes her both mysterious and captivating. Adding some heat to the mix, Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn lights up the screen as Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch. And rounding out the team, Ebon Moss-Bachrach brings his rugged charm to the no-nonsense Thing.

Although plot details remain scarce, Marvel Studios has already dropped a teaser trailer. The quick glimpse of Pascal’s portrayal of Reed Richards has already sparked excitement, leaving fans buzzing with anticipation. With such a dynamic cast and a promising new direction, it’s safe to say this reboot is poised to win over audiences.

#4. Avengers: Doomsday (May 1, 2026)

After The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Pedro Pascal will reprise his role as Reed Richards in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. This epic chapter marks the explosive debut of Doctor Doom, played by none other than Robert Downey Jr. In a surprising twist, he returns to the MCU—this time as a villain.

Although some original Marvel heroes won’t be back, the film still packs plenty of star power. Fans can look forward to Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, and Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier. Once again, the Russo Brothers will take the helm, bringing their signature vision that made Infinity War and Endgame unforgettable.

Set to kick off a massive two-part saga, Avengers: Doomsday promises to reshape the Marvel Universe in bold new ways.

#5. The Mandalorian and Grogu (May 22, 2026)

A galaxy far, far away is returning to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu, a highly anticipated feature film that continues the beloved Disney+ series. Once again, Pedro Pascal takes on the role of the iconic Din Djarin, joined by newcomers Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the film promises to delve deeper into the bond between Din and Grogu. At the same time, it will introduce exciting new adventures and expand the Star Wars universe in bold, unexpected ways. With its signature blend of emotional storytelling and high-stakes action, fans are already counting down the days to see how this next chapter unfolds.
