For the “average” fashion enthusiasts, this unpredictability will require a more restrained approach to style, but Naija celebrities and influencers are anything but average. Fashion will always hinge on personality and eccentricity, and we know actress Olufunke Akindele has lots of it. We’ve been told never to pair horizontal and vertical stripes, but Funke’s stylist shows that not every law should be heeded. To celebrate her birthday, the actress and producer opted for a multicolored pantsuit blending both horizontal and vertical stripes to a max tempo. She finished the look with baby blue pumps and a statement necklace that matched the big energy of the outfit. Now, that’s how to celebrate a new year!

She hit hard in a halterneck mini dress with teardrop designs and a voluminous hip by Desiree Iyama that proved that she will always be that baby girl. Toke’s strappy sandals and statement gold jewelry gave the outfit its perfect ending. When in doubt, wear a red mini dress and accessorize accordingly; it’s often hard to miss.

Who else goes through Instagram reels searching for elegant outfits that ooze old-money vibes? Being a lover of neutral colors and refined outfits, this dress spotted on Sandrah Tubobereni checks all the right boxes for me. The lacy, double-breasted, white number by Self Portrait hits right on the ankle in a super-feminine way, bestowing an air of sophistication on its wearer. The fashion entrepreneur spiced up the old money aesthetic with PVC heels, a black mini clutch, a white belt, and a white statement bow-inspired headpiece. It’s giving rich and unbothered.
