A passionate writer, self proclaimed chef and lover of music…
The fourth and final leg of the global, month-long fashion marathon ended last week with Paris Fashion Week. The Spring/Summer 2019 shows kicked off with Dior’s spectacular show and continued onto other great shows, like Hedi Slimane’s Céline presentation which impressed everyone. However, what remains of major interest is how lit the streets and pavements of the French capital was. Fashion faithfuls, of course, did not disappoint, as they stepped out in some of the finest styles we’ve seen this fashion cycle.
Can you believe that we thought that Milan street style was the best thing that happened to fashion month? Well, we will be first to admit we were wrong because it is clear as day that the fashionistas of Paris were prepared for world domination.
From fashion lovers to style influencers, editors, a huge percentage of show goers turned the streets into their personal runway with looks that were stitched with some serious heat. The bevy of styles found off the runway embraced high-end designers, mixed with everyday brands. Rich textures and fine prints also filled the streets, as the fusion of luxury and streetwear took over the city of lights.
Here are some of the best street styles from SS19 Paris Fashion Week…
