Popular Nigerian womenswear brand Maki Oh showcased her 2017 Autumn/Winter collection at the ongoing New York Fashion Week with some feminine yet edgy pieces.
The brand which is known for its contemporary designs and aesthetics which has been worn by popular Nigerian and international celebrities such as Michelle Obama, Solange Knowles, Lupita Nyongo, Genevieve Nnaji and many more took a more risqué and edgy approach with this collection. The collection offers a variety of pieces ranging from faux leather pants, mesh skirts, wool trench coats, metallic co-ords to fur trimmings.
The collection also focuses on Autumn colours like forest green, orange, black and blue. Predictably, Maki Oh’s signature silk batik print fabric takes center stage in this collection.
