Renowned South African actresses Thembi Mtshali and Leleti Khumalo were celebrated with Lifetime Achievement Awards at the 2nd Golden Elephant Lifetime Achievement Awards ceremony, held by Word Of Mouth Pictures and the Duma Ndlovu Academy at the Market Theatre in Newtown on Wednesday. 4. Nicki Minaj reveals release date for updated edition of “Pink Friday 2”

Nicki Minaj has sent her fans, known as the Barbz, into a frenzy by announcing the release date for her latest project, “Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded.” On Tuesday, August 27, the Young Money rapper took to Instagram to reveal that the updated edition of her fifth studio album will arrive on September 13. Alongside the announcement, Minaj shared what appears to be new artwork for the project, as well as several photos of herself with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty.

Originally released in 2023, Pink Friday 2 featured 22 tracks. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 album-equivalent units sold and has since achieved platinum certification. 5. Napoli sign Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku for £30m

Napoli have completed the signing of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea in a £30 million deal. The move for the 31-year-old forward has been spearheaded by Napoli’s manager Antonio Conte, who previously worked with Lukaku during his successful stint at Inter Milan, where the striker enjoyed two prolific seasons from 2019 to 2021, including a Serie A title win.

Lukaku, who returned to Chelsea in 2021 for a record £97.5 million, has spent the last two seasons on loan in Italy, first at Inter Milan and then at Roma. His departure helps Chelsea offload his £325,000-a-week wages, freeing up room in their budget. Lukaku could make his debut for Napoli in Saturday’s match against Parma, Conte hinted in a pre-match news conference. Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin has also moved to Serie A, joining Empoli on a three-year deal. To offset their spending, Napoli is considering offers from Chelsea and Al-Ahli for their 25-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
