Last Week, The Best Beauty Looks Were Gorgeously Luminous

Lights, camera, action! With a general memo for full glam makeup across the globe, the best beauty looks from last week were a delight. Simply put, black topliners stood out in ravishing ways. While some gave us front-row seats to the superstar experience at exclusive events, others had the perfect Insta bombshell shots. From chromatic lids to sleek natural manes, these celebs and influencers showed up and showed out!

Makeup

First off is Nollywood actress Ini Edo who embodied the term showstopper in all ramifications. The self proclaimed brown sugar hit the spot with soft glam and glossy lips. Equally appealing is her glorious dark brown skin she played up with light, yet perfectly matching foundation. Essentially, she’s proof that healthy skin is the best base for a luminous face beat. Also looking stunning in soft glam and rich skin is Paris-based Congolese model Olomide Didi-Stone who had a metallic makeup moment at the 74th Festival de Cannes ceremony. In a dainty reel and series of photos shared on Instagram, she shone divinely in bronze and silver undertones.

Speaking of skincare, it’s safe to say Willow Smith’s “no makeup” makeup glam look gave us some inspo for our summertime self-care routines. With a gorgeous headshot showcasing her natural freckles, she embodied the perfect au naturel energy. Meanwhile, Nollywood’s Beverly Osu brought some fun to the makeup milieu with neon green lids. Bright tinged eyes are very much in this season, and she rocked the fad to a T!

Hair

When it comes to standing out in unconventionality, Tracee Ellis Ross wins with an impeccable streak. This time, she had us gushing over threaded braids packed up in classic ponytail style  as her beautiful natural grey strands made an appearance. Staying on-trend in the tress community with a mini ponytail and side fringe, Nigerian singer Yemi Alade looked ultra-pretty. The songbird had her edges laid to perfection, and a pearl hair clip topped off her girly hairdo.

To keep you in the know on what’s modish currently, we’ve got a lineup of dynamic beauty looks on black women for you to revere.
