Best Dressed List: The Best Looks On African Celebs And Style Stars Last Week

As life gradually returns to a semi-normal state, celebrities and style stars across Africa – who happen to also be some of the best fashion influencers on Instagram – are finding more reasons to dress up, step out and make a fashion statement before the curfew kicks in wherever they are.Stylish African Celebrities on Instagram.

African celebrities and top fashion influencers are consistently using their style on Instagram to prove that a global pandemic doesn’t equal an end to doing the things we love––especially if it keeps us going.

Even as we continuously preach the gospel of safety and ask that you observe social distancing rules, we also want to re-emphasize the fact that a fashionable outfit should not only make you look good on the outside but also make you feel confident from the inside out. That confidence is exactly what we can feel from the women on this list.

Last week, some of the most stylish African celebrities, influencers, and style stars stepped out in a range of amplified looks which they, of course, shared on Instagram. Trust Nigerian celebrities and style stars to nail their looks.

In Nigeria, celebrities and fashion influencers joined the ongoing #EndSARS protest as they ask the government to put an end to police brutality in the country. True to form, a handful of them stepped out in protest-ready chic looks. There was some semblance of the kind of glam we’re used to in the person of former BBNaija Lockdown housemate, Erica Nlewedim, who graced our timelines in a TBally Couture metallic draped mini dress which she paired with a pair of perspex heels. With makeup, she opted for nude glam to define her look.

Over in South Africa, actress Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong and hijab model Thameenah Saint both gave us reasons to look for our black and white pieces all over again as they showed off their chic monochrome looks.

The looks shared via Instagram posts last week by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, elegant, and relaxed and it’s safe to say that we’re, as usual, living vicariously through them. The top Stylish African Fashion influencer Instagram.
