The video highlights some impressive cars like a Rolls Royce, a Mercedes Benz, a Ferrari, and several other luxury sports cars, underscoring his fine taste and wealth. The caption on the video playfully notes that Burna Boy might need more room for even more cars as his collection grows.

3. South Africa: Mpho Sebeng’s life honored at memorial service at the Joburg Theatre

On Thursday, May 9, a memorial service was held to honor the life of actor Mpho Sebeng, who tragically lost his life in a car crash on May 5. The service took place at the Joburg Theatre, providing a space for friends, family, and fans to come together in his honor. Mavin Records is a key part of Nigeria’s music scene, with more than ten current and past artists. On Wednesday, May 8, Don Jazzy shared videos that showed the growth of the label, including clips of current and former artists and their successes on music streaming services. The videos also looked back at Mavin’s start in 2012, when it was first introduced.

Don Jazzy thanked fans for their constant support over the past twelve years and highlighted how important Mavin has been to the music industry. The label has produced many popular songs like “Dorobucci,” “Adaobi,” “Jantamanta,” “Looku Looku,” and “All is in order,” which have significantly influenced Nigerian music.

5. Haaland on the Premier League Young Player of the Season shortlist

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland could be named Premier League Young Player of the Season for a second consecutive year. The 23-year-old Norwegian international football player has been nominated for the award alongside City teammate Phil Foden. Arsenal midfielders Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins, and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk complete the shortlist. The winner, decided by a public vote and a Premier League panel, will be announced on May 18.

Last year, Haaland became the first player to win the Player of the Season award and the Young Player award after scoring 36 goals in 35 league games. He has scored 25 goals this season as City chases a record fourth consecutive title. Former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to win the award in consecutive seasons, in 2006–07 and 2007–08.

In addition, City boss Pep Guardiola, a four-time winner of the Manager of the Season award, has again been shortlisted, alongside Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Villa’s Unai Emery, and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.
