Gucci is celebrating diversity with its Pre-Fall 2017 campaign, titled “Soul Scene“. The ad/campaign photographed by Glen Luchford features only models and dancers of color.
Perfect for Alessandro Michele‘s bold and flamboyant designs, Soul Scene was inspired by the Northern Soul movement of London in the 1960s’ and a Malian photographer, Malick Sadibe who captured nightlife in Bamako, Mali.
The lively & energetic campaign which features models and dancers dancing in a vintage 60s apartment is a result of Gucci’s audition of black models and dancers back in January.
