The 67th Annual Grammy Awards nominations, revealed Friday morning, November 8, saw Beyoncé make history once again, surpassing her husband, Jay-Z, to become the most-nominated artist in Grammy history. Leading the pack with an impressive 11 nominations, Beyoncé outpaced all other contenders heading into the 2025 ceremony. Close behind are Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone, each earning seven nods. Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift follow closely with six nominations each, marking a strong showing from some of the year’s most exciting musical talents.

With these new nominations, Beyoncé’s career total now stands at 99, further solidifying her status as the Grammys’ most-nominated artist of all time. She also holds 32 Grammy wins, the highest of any artist in history. A major contributor to this record-breaking achievement is her genre-defying 2024 album Cowboy Carter, which earned nominations across a wide range of categories. These include three in the general fields—Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for the album’s lead single, “Texas Hold ‘Em.” In addition, Beyoncé earned four nominations in country music categories, two in pop, one in rap, and one in Americana, showcasing her versatility and cross-genre appeal.

Both Shaboozey and Raye earned nominations in the prestigious Best New Artist category, marking pivotal milestones in their burgeoning careers. Shaboozey’s genre-defying sound and captivating vocals have garnered widespread critical acclaim, while Raye’s soulful melodies and powerful voice have struck a chord with audiences around the globe. Also, their nominations highlight the diverse range of talent emerging in the music scene this year.

Afrobeats took center stage at the 2025 Grammys, with the introduction of a dedicated Best African Music Performance category. This new recognition highlights the genre’s vibrant diversity and growing influence on the global music scene. The inclusion of Afrobeats stars like Burna Boy, Asake, Davido, Yemi Alade, Tems, and Lojay underscores the genre’s rising prominence and its undeniable cultural impact.

The full list of 2025 Grammy nominations is available below, as the ceremony returns to Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2.
