1. Gal Gadot welcomes baby number 4
“Wonder Woman” star, Gal Gadot has welcomed her fourth child, a baby girl named Ori, with husband Jaron Varsano. She announced this on Wednesday, March 6 via Instagram. The image sees her in what appears to be a hospital bed, cradling the infant in her hands. The 38-year-old captioned the post: “My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through. You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls.. 👯♀️👯♀️ Daddy is pretty cool too 😉❤️.”
Gadot, who also shares daughters Alma, 12, Maya, 6, and Daniella, 2, with Varsano, largely kept her pregnancy with Ori out of the spotlight. Her last red carpet appearance was in July at the “Barbie” premiere, where she walked the red carpet in a brown-and-white striped dress that featured a large bow covering her stomach.
Congratulations to the couple!
2. UK partially lifts ban on Calvin Klein’s FKA Twigs ad
Regulator partially reverses ruling that banned FKA twigs Calvin Klein ad in UK https://t.co/cKlMCUlsNn
— USA TODAY (@USATODAY) March 7, 2024
A UK ban on the controversial Calvin Klein advert starring FKA Twigs has been partially lifted. This follows the singer’s criticism of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after it said the image in the campaign, in which she wore a shirt that partially covered her body, was “likely to cause offense by objectifying women.” The agency said it had reversed its original decision after a review concluded the image was not sexually explicit. However, the advert remains banned from display where it might be seen by children.
In its original ruling, published in January, the ASA found the image “placed viewers’ focus on the model’s body” rather than her clothing and “presented her as a stereotypical sexual object.” FKA Twigs hit back in a viral Instagram post, accusing the watchdog of double standards and saying she saw “a beautiful strong woman of color” rather than an object.
The ASA said the decision to review the ban was “driven by our concern that our rationale for banning the ad was substantially flawed.”

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, a weapons supervisor on the set of ‘Rust’, has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins by actor Alec Baldwin. The verdict on Wednesday assigned new blame on Gutierrez-Reed in the October 2021 shooting death of Hutchins after an assistant director last year pleaded no contest to negligent handling of a firearm.
The jury spent almost three hours deliberating before reaching the verdict. According to local media, the 26-year-old, who chose not to testify in her defense during the trial, did not show any emotion as the verdict was read. She was then taken into custody. Lead lawyer Jason Bowles said Gutierrez-Reed will appeal the conviction, which carries imprisonment for up to 18 months and a $5,000 fine. A sentencing date is yet to be set.
