The football match between the Nigeria and Croatia may not have ended in our favour but before we could let ourselves fall into a minor depression, our very own Starboy, Wizkid, came through and gave us a reason to go to sleep with a smile on our faces. The superstar made his modelling debut at Milan Fashion Week for fashion luxury brand Dolce and Gabbana alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell and British-Nigerian rapper Tinie Tempah.
Naomi, who had also taken over Dolce and Gabbana‘s Instagram for the day, tweeted a picture of herself wearing a pin-striped black suit and heavily-embellished stilettos, a white and navy fedora and a bow tie strutting alongside the ‘Soco’ crooner who was styled by the iconic designer Stefano Gabbana.
Walking down to his song Soco banging on the runway, Wizkid appeared wearing a bullfighter inspired outfit with heavy gold embroidery, a polka-dotted T-shirt and a studded face mask. Naomi captioned the picture of both of them “doing the gangster walk with my lil bro.”
In the unlikelihood of Wizkid’s flourishing career flopping he can easily pick up a career as a runway model and we will definitely cheer him all the way through!
Take a look at what Wizkid looked like while strutting the runway!

We continue to affirm that the future of fashion is Nigerian and we see Naomi Campbell as one of the keys to a brand new world of opportunities for the Nigerian fashion industry.
