t’s raining cats and dogs at the moment, but pellets of water aren’t the only things raining on the streets of Lasgidi. There’s also an outpouring of cool fashion takes. This isn’t exclusive to the celebs as every fashion enthusiast seems to have caught the sartorial flu. Recently, fashionable Nigerian ladies paraded in their delightful ensembles, ticking all the right boxes and reminding us why the Nigerian fashion space never fails to deliver.

Check out the chic looks spotted on fashionable Nigerian ladies recently…

#1. Bomb in gloss

Blood Sisters star, Ini Dima-Okojie was on the gram flaunting a Derin Fabikun forest green number with a glossy leaf-shaped bodice. The sleeves held higher than her shoulders and the rest of the number clung to her like a second skin before cascading to the floor. Other than the outfit, what stood out was how well the green dress matched her mocha brown skin — like a forest to earth. The beautiful actress styled her hair in a sleek lowered bun and opted for statement earrings, minimalistic rings, and black heels to complete the look.

#2. Shimmering sauce

For the PatBo New York Fashion Week show, actress Temi Otedola wore a shimmering dress with a teardrop cut-out just beneath the v-neckline. The dress also flaunted ruffled designs at the shoulder and sleeves, adding to its glamour. To complement this look, Otedola opted for black heels, box braids, chunky gold earrings, and of course, a glass of red wine. How classy.

#3. A tall glass of prints

Nigerian designers and stylists are constantly outdoing their past records. Recently, Kie Kie stunned in a print ruffle dress that spoke volumes, and we can thank the Nigerian stylist Mayokun Michael for that. The dress’ spaghetti strap, plunging neckline, and flamboyant all-over prints make it a perfect number for any ostentatious event.

#4. Casual sass

Linda Osifo slid into the perfect city girl outfit as spotted in Downtown Chicago. Making a case for a typical Lagos casual fit, the actress wore an animal print long-sleeve blouse tucked into skinny black trousers. She finished the look with PVC pumps, a mini bag, Catseye sunglasses, and the famous Black girl cornrows. And like her caption insisted, it’s “the same Lagos vibe, just a different location.”

#5. Rich babe

Seasoned Nollywood actress, Chika Ike is arguably one of the Nigerian fashionable ladies who hold their own and make every day look like a party day. Last week in Lebanon, she donned a turquoise off-shoulder coordination that delivered. The wide-leg pants and off-shoulder long-sleeved blouse played between sexy and easy, making this look a practical option for a good time out. She completed the offering with a heavily embellished Lady Dior handbag, multicolored pumps, a lighter shade of turquoise earrings, and an amazing facebeat that didn’t decline.

#6. Orange you fiery

Regina Daniels pulled off a bold orange look that made heads turn. The tailored outfit, featuring a mini dress and matching jacket, was every inch refined. Daniels styled this look with gold strappy heels, a Valentino handbag, minimal gold jewelry, and sleek straight hair that hit the right buttons. If you have been considering taking an audacious step toward bright hues, here’s your cue.

#7. Floral aura

The Florette trend is still at its peak with flower appliques splashed on almost every piece — think minute Florette embellishments on shoes or a bold feature on a dainty frock. This baby blue mini dress with a prominent blue-and-green flower spotted on actress Enado Odigie is an apt reference. To give the look its perfect finish, she opted for a knotted purse and understated jewelry.
