With more than 45,000 followers on his personal Instagram account, emerging designer Peter Do who garnered experience from top fashion brands Céline and Derek Lam, is building up his namesake brand using social media and word of mouth to promote, sell, and create awareness. Already surrounding himself with a buzz away from the New York saturated market, Peter has been able to confirm stockists for his Spring 2019 debut collection which he showcased during Paris Market this summer.
The popularity of his brand is due to his presence on social media and according to the designer;
“I’m quite active on there and post-process photos and behind-the-scenes. A lot of buyers said they felt like they’ve known the company for so long because they saw me build the shelves, the table, saw the team go to Ikea. That’s the only p.r. thing we’ve been doing.”
This approach towards getting his brand noticed has definitely encouraged orders but the collection in itself has noticeable variants which makes it even more attractive. The collection offers pieces with a wide range of impressive feat; from sheer separates to thick pleats and distinct cuts, it’s obvious that the collection promotes a confident aesthetic with a glance of whimsical comfort.
Here’s a look at the aesthetically pleasing collection…
