1. Diddy welcomes birth of ‘Baby Girl’ Love Sean Combs

Diddy announced the birth of a baby girl named Love Sean Combs, but his cryptic tweet doesn’t specify whether he’s the father or a different type of family member. On Saturday, December 10, the hip-hop mogul, now known as Love, shared a tweet that had Twitter users searching for answers. “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl, Love Sean Combs, to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the greatest,” he shared.

Diddy is already the father of six children: Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie (twins), all of whom were mentioned in his surprise tweet. Earlier this year, the 53-year-old executive shared the news that he’s dating City Girls’ rapper Yung Miami, 28.

2. D’banj breaks silence over alleged N-power fraud

Singer and businessman D’banj has finally spoken up, days after he was taken into custody by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) over an alleged crime of fund diversion. The singer, who was released in the early hours of Friday, December 9, 2022, took to his social media pages on the same day to comment on the arrest and the alleged crime.

D’banj thanked the world for their support and mentioned that he had done all he could to assist the ICPC with its investigation. He also stated that he has “no business with fraud.” In his words, “global thank you to the world. I was invited to an ongoing investigation in ICPC. I have assisted the commission with all I know and I am confident in their capacity to unravel the truth in the matter. I have no business with fraud, all I do is #choplife.”

A post shared by Khanyi Mbau Metanoia (@mbaureloaded)

Khanyi Mbau has shut down rumors that she and her beau, Zimbabwean businessman Kudzai Mushonga, are expecting their first child together. After social media users speculated the actress and reality TV star was pregnant in comments on her recent Instagram posts, Khanyi shared an image of herself wearing a crop top with the caption: “Took my bag for a stroll. For peace sake [I’m] not pregnant, [it’s] just PMS (premenstrual syndrome). Death by Instagram gynecologists’.”

This was understood to be a reference to bloating, one of the symptoms of PMS. While Khanyi is still living her best life and enjoying the fruits of her successful career, the “Young, Famous & African” star, who has a teenage daughter from her previous relationship, says she has plans to expand her family one day.

4. Patti LaBelle rushed off stage amid bomb threat report

Patti LaBelle was swiftly rushed off stage in Milwaukee after the venue received word of a bomb threat. According to reports, LaBelle, 78, was in the middle of speaking to the crowd at Riverside Theater with a bouquet of flowers in her left hand when two men dressed in black rushed toward her and escorted her off stage. The disruption was caught on camera as the two men grabbed the mic stand from her and forced her to drop the bouquet.

The music icon can be heard crying out, “Hold up. Wait!” as fans laughed. But the laughter was short-lived and replaced by fear and confusion as authorities worked to evacuate the entire theater. “Tonight’s Patti LaBelle show at the Riverside Theater has been postponed following a bomb threat investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department,” said concert organizer Pabst Theater Group in a statement. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Drake Bentley shared a police release from Captain Warren E. Allen Jr. “Regarding the bomb threat in the 100 block of W. Wisconsin, all patrons have been safely evacuated. Police are clearing the facility at this time. The investigation is fluid and ongoing.”

5. Man Utd warned off World Cup sensation Goncalo Ramos

Benfica president Rui Costa has claimed that there is no pressure to sell Goncalo Ramos this January amid Manchester United transfer links. After introducing himself onto the global stage with a stunning hat-trick for Portugal in their World Cup win over Switzerland, the 21-year-old striker has been linked with a move to the Red Devils. However, the Benfica president has promised fans that there is no need to sell their star asset to anyone this January.

Costa recently told the media: “We have the sole objective of having a winning season; no player will leave unless it is due to the clause, which at this moment is fundamental for the squad. What I can promise our supporters is what I did at the beginning of the year. This is a sporting project, not a financial one. Fortunately, we are not experiencing financial problems and we have no need to sell players.”
