Ciara is pregnant, and she and husband Russell Wilson are expanding their family once again. The singer, 40, and the former NFL star, 37, announced Sunday, September 6, that they are expecting their fifth child, sharing a series of photos and videos that gave fans their first look at Ciara’s baby bump.
“One more person to Love 🖐🏽🥺🖤,” the couple captioned the Instagram post.
The announcement included a sweet family-themed reveal. In one video, Ciara adds a tiny baby onesie to a clothesline alongside shirts displaying the names of her four children. She then shows off her growing bump, while another clip features Russell Wilson joining her for the celebration.
The couple has not yet revealed the baby’s sex, name, or due date.
Ciara and Russell Wilson Are Expecting Their Fifth Child

This will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Russell Wilson. The couple are already parents to daughters Sienna Princess, 9, and Amora Princess, 2, and sons Win Harrison, 6, and Future Zahir, 12.
Future Zahir is Ciara’s eldest child, whom she welcomed with rapper Future in 2014. She and Wilson married in 2016 and have since welcomed three children together: Sienna, Win, and Amora.
The latest pregnancy comes less than three years after the birth of Amora, who arrived in December 2023. The newest addition will make the Wilson household a family of seven.
The Pregnancy Announcement Was a Family Affair
Rather than making the announcement with a simple portrait, Ciara incorporated her four children into the reveal.
The video shows shirts bearing the names Future, Sienna, Win, and Amora hanging on a clothesline. A fifth piece of clothing, a blank baby onesie, is then added to the lineup. The visual offered a playful way of announcing that another member of the family is on the way without giving away the details fans are likely most curious about.
In another portion of the announcement, Ciara poses beside the clothesline while showing her bump and holding up five fingers. The couple later appear together, smiling as they celebrate the news.
Ciara Previously Opened Up About Having Another Baby
The possibility of another child had already come up in conversations about the couple’s growing family.
Following Amora’s birth, Ciara recalled that Wilson had brought up the idea of “Cinco,” jokingly telling him to slow down. She later acknowledged that she could not completely rule out having another child.
Now, that possibility has become official.
The singer has also previously spoken about how important family time has remained while balancing motherhood with her demanding music career.

After welcoming Amora, Ciara returned to the road, including joining Missy Elliott’s “Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience” tour in 2024 alongside Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland.
Her children traveled with her during the tour, something she described positively in a September 2024 interview with PEOPLE.
“My kids traveled with me, and I couldn’t have done it any other way,” Ciara said at the time.
She also reflected on the everyday moments she shared with her children between performances. In an August 2024 Instagram post, the singer shared photos of herself with her daughters and described those moments as the ones that “filled my cup” while she was on tour.
For Ciara, motherhood has continued alongside her music career rather than existing separately from it.
Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Family Continues to Grow
The new pregnancy arrives as both Ciara and Russell Wilson continue their respective careers while raising their four children.
Ciara released her eighth studio album, “CiCi,” in 2025 and has continued performing internationally. Just weeks before announcing her pregnancy, she performed at the BitterSweet Festival in Poznań, Poland.
Wilson, meanwhile, has remained in the public eye following his NFL career, while frequently appearing alongside Ciara and their children in family moments shared online.
The couple have generally kept their family life at the center of their public relationship, making the pregnancy announcement a natural extension of that.
What We Know About Baby No. 5
For now, the details surrounding the pregnancy remain limited. While Ciara is pregnant, she and Russell Wilson have not announced when the baby is due or whether they are expecting a boy or girl.
They also have yet to reveal a name for their newest child.
