Grammy Award-winning global icon Burna Boy kicks off the countdown to his highly anticipated eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, with the release of his seductive new single, “Sweet Love,” available everywhere now. Produced by hitmaker Major Seven (who has also worked with Future and Rihanna), the romantic, reggae-tinged track highlights Burna’s magnetic vocal charisma and his signature fusion of global rhythms with a polished pop sensibility. The accompanying music video is set to premiere later today, promising to deepen the single’s allure.
“Sweet Love” continues Burna Boy’s standout year, building on the momentum of No Sign of Weakness’s explosive lead single, “Update.” Produced by P2J (who previously worked with Beyoncé and Tems) and anchored by a sample of Soul II Soul’s iconic “Back to Life (However Do You Want Me),” the track delivers a potent fusion of Afrobeats and anthemic, club-ready energy. Its official video—an evocative montage of visual vignettes inspired by the album’s core themes—has already racked up over 5 million views on YouTube, further cementing Burna’s cultural dominance.
Burna Boy’s Global Reign Continues
Also featured on No Sign of Weakness is the triumphant fan favorite “Bundle By Bundle,” produced by longtime collaborator Telz. The high-energy anthem has already racked up over 24 million Spotify streams and 8.5 million video views, earning praise from outlets like Billboard, NME, and UPROXX, all of whom hailed it as a vibrant ode to nightlife and a bold showcase of Burna’s larger-than-life musical persona.
Adding to his global momentum, Burna Boy recently teamed up with French-Haitian artist Joé Dwèt Filé for the remix of the viral hit “4 Kampé.” The track seamlessly blends Afrobeats with Haitian Kompa, resulting in a cross-cultural anthem that continues to climb charts around the world.
Also, just last month, Burna made history yet again—becoming the first-ever cover star of Billboard France and the first African artist to headline the iconic Stade de France with a sold-out performance. Looking ahead, he’s set to extend his global stadium run this summer with headline shows in Berlin (July 5) and Mönchengladbach (July 6), with additional dates soon to be revealed.
