On May 10, 2021, it was announced that Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy’s last three albums, “African Giant,” “Outside,” and “Twice As Tall,” had each hit 100 million streams on Spotify. Outside was released in January 2018, while Grammy-nominated African Giant dropped in July 2019 and Grammy-winning Twice As Tall dropped in August 2020.

This comes after news that “Ye,” a single off Outside, had been certified gold in the US. Burna Boy is also set to perform at the Governor’s Ball alongside Billie Eilish, Asap Rocky, and more.

Congratulations to Burna Boy on the continuous success of his albums.

Drake rules Billboard’s Top Artists of the 2010s chart and will receive the Artist of the Decade Award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23. Drake’s dominance during the 2010s wins him top honors in the overall top artist category.

After first appearing on Billboard charts in 2009, Drake banked nine Billboard 200 No. 1s in the 2010s. At the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, Drake—who holds the title for most BBMAs with 27 after taking home 12 prizes in 2019—will receive the Artist of the Decade Award. The United Kingdom (UK) government has added Ghana to a list of 21 high-risk countries with unsatisfactory money laundering and terrorist financing controls. The list of 21 countries published by the UK Government under “The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) (High-Risk Countries) Regulations 2021” has been approved by both Houses of the UK’s Parliament.

According to the UK government, the nations in this category pose a threat because of weak tax controls and lack of checks and balances on terrorism financing and money laundering.

The 29-year-old is recovering from surgery after suffering knee ligament damage in October. The Euros are taking place between June 11 and July 11, having been delayed by a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
