Belangelique – coined from two French words means Beautiful and Angelic – was born out of a mutual love for fashion by two friends. Inspired by a passion to create timeless pieces, in 2016, Nengi Warikoko and Florentyna Ihua founded Belangelique, a clothing brand that caters to the fashion needs of the modern woman.
Belangelique embodies the expressive woman who embraces her sexuality unapologetically. The brand emphasizes an aesthetic that is a perfect blend of modern classics and sexy feminine style. Belangelique’s aesthetic was channelled into the ‘Bel Evolution’ collection as they captured details that make every woman beautiful in her own way. The collection consists of a combination of bold hues, fine structure and sexy feminine cuts. The brand focuses on fashion as it evolves by capturing trends but not straying away from its main objective: to create timeless, versatile pieces that stay in the wardrobe all year long.
