B lack men are redefining what it means to be stylish. They’re not just wearing clothes; they’re using fashion as a canvas to express themselves, their creativity, and their cultural influence. Whether they’re gracing the red carpet or just out about town, these Black style icons are constantly pushing boundaries and setting new standards for elegance and sophistication. This week, we’re celebrating a few of these trendsetters and taking a closer look at the offerings that stole the fashion scene last week.

The Looks

Even though the NFL is in the offseason, some players are keeping their fashion game strong. Marquise Goodwin, the Cleveland Browns wide receiver, proved to be a brand loyalist rocking a full head-to-toe outfit from fellow player Steffon Diggs’ label, Liem Homme. He opted for a comfortable yet stylish combo – a black “Taken” hoodie and joggers paired with a playful “I Need A Hug” tee underneath. To complete the look, he sported paint-splattered sneakers, a white Goyard backpack, and a classic black Liem Homme baseball hat.

On the red carpet, actor Brian Michael Smith brought a touch of drama to the Truth Awards. He donned a show-stopping black suit by Don Morphy, featuring a unique red “wrapping” design that added a touch of avant-garde flair. The crisp white dinner shirt underneath provided a perfect base, while the pointed-toe boots added a touch of edge. Smith’s outfit showed that formal wear doesn’t have to be boring.

Taking the stage for a guest performance, singer Fabolous delivered both vocally and sartorially. He went for a streetwise-meets-luxe vibe with a grey Kind of Famous sweatsuit layered under a rare, made-in-the-USA horsehide bomber jacket by All-American Avirex. The green lace-up boots and matching green-and-yellow hat echoed the bomber’s colors, creating a cohesive and effortlessly cool look.
