Last Week, The Best Dressed Black Celebs And Style Stars Slayed Between Seasons

The red carpet season is in full bloom just as spring is around the corner. Black celebs all over the world are taking advantage of the hopeful vibes that suggest that we’re nearing the beginning of a return to normal––whatever that would mean in a post-pandemic world.

For Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, American actress, comedian, and author, Tiffany Haddish stepped out in a Versace plissé-twill slip dress from the designer’s Spring 2021 collection. The beautiful slip dress features a pleated design with orange ruffles at the dress’s midi hemline and a playful, bold, and iconic Trésor de la Mer pattern of aquatic fauna that first appeared on the runway in 1992. The dress also features a fun scoop neck with a starfish set in white enamel on each strap. Tiffany styled the look with Versace starfish enameled earrings and a pair of orange Stuart Weitzman sandals.

In Nigeria, designer Lisa Folawiyo proved once again that mixing and matching prints is something we all should try. She played with colors as much as she played with prints. To style her Ankara print dress which featured a thigh-high slit, she opted for an adire printed shirt with back cut-out details which she layered on as a jacket. To complete the look, she chose a pair of strappy silver sandals and the Bottega Veneta whirl leather purse.

The most stylish looks shared by black celebrities and style stars were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them. Best dressed Black celebs style Instagram.
