Asake Solidifies His Place In The Music Industry With His Debut Album ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ + More New Trending Afrobeat Songs

This weekend, get ready to dance all the way into the new week as afrobeat artists have made it their duty to keep us engaged with groovy songs. Take, for example, Asake who has finally released his highly anticipated debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe which houses dance-triggering songs like Organise, Joha, Sungba, and more.

Even Ghanaian artists are not left out as Afro R&B artist KiDi returns to the scene with a new celebration-inspired song titled Champagne. As we enter into another weekend, we’ve compiled a list of the top five trending new afrobeat songs of the week just for your listening pleasure.

#1. Asake – Organise

Nigerian not-so-newbie artist Asake hits the studio once again with a dance-worthy song titled Organise. The song carries the cadence of Afrobeat with its progression and backup vocals. Organise happens to be the third track off Asake’s newly released debut album titled Mr. Money With The Vibe, an impressive studio album that comes fully prepared with 12 solid tracks that will keep you on your feet from start to finish.

#2. Patoranking ft. Diamond Platnumz – Kolo Kolo

Nigerian Dancehall artist, Patoranking just delivered a potential classic song titled Kolo Kolo featuring Tanzanian music star, Diamond Platnumz. The lovely song serves as Patoranking’s debut for the year. As we all know, the singer has been very much silent this year so it’s exhilarating to see this latest drop from the star. Besides the catchy sound, another favorite aspect of the Yung Willis-produced song is the colorful video shot in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania which features Nigerian host Nancy Isime.

#3. R2Bees ft. Gyakie – Need Your Love

Talented Ghanaian musical duo, R2Bees has blessed fans with a brand new song titled Need Your Love. On this studio number, they tap fellow Ghanaian artist Gyakie, who adds a double melodious vibe to the music. This song is taken from their newly released body of work named Back 2 Basics and is listed as the third record of the album.

#4. Kelvyn Boy ft. Tekno and Stefflon Don – Down Flat (Remix)

Ghanaian artist Kelvyn Boy, the Down Flat hitmaker is out with the remix of his hit record, and this time, he has two prominent artists featured. The rising star enlisted Nigerian singer Tekno and British rapper Stefflon Don who both added their spice to the already wonderful song. On Down Flat, Kelvyn Boy sings about his feelings for his sweetheart. The group, however, flip-flows on the love-themed tune and offers a catchy weekend single.

#5. KiDi – Champagne

KiDi, a Ghanaian veteran singer of Lynx Entertainment, is back with a new song titled Champagne. This song is taken off his newly released EP titled 4play. KiDi has been making a lot of effort so his audience never runs out of good melodies to listen to. This latest studio number is a follow-up to his collaboration with a top-notch Jamaican artist, Mavado.
