After three female brands had showcased their collections, Abidjan born, Paris based label Laurence Airline founded by Laurence Chauvin-Buthaud brought some much-needed testosterone to the runway on Day 1 of the on-going Arise Fashion Week 2018.
Laurence Airline, known for their cool, laid-back yet stylish aesthetics, was not outshone by their female colleagues seeing as they were the only menswear label for the night. The brand tapped into present day trends by featuring a collection that consisted of capris, buttoned down front shirts and jackets in checkered, stripes and floral designs and other rich prints, perfect for the man who’s bold and far from conservative.
The colourful SS18 collection is for the stylish modern man who wants to stay true to his roots while remaining open to the diverse cultures that have influenced his growth. Also featured in the collection were wide-brimmed straw hats and brightly coloured easy to carry travelling gear which added to the collection’s vibrancy and cosmopolitan appeal.
