Great style is in the details and last week, African male celebrities and influencers seemed intent on reminding the world that it only takes a single element to elevate an entire outfit.
Nigerian media personality Taymesan is fast becoming the Nigerian king of monochrome fashion and we have no choice but to stan. The media boy chose red as his base color and did a great job creating an ensemble from that color scheme. He layered a burgundy suit by Nigerian fashion brand, Rhobes Clothing over a maroon t-shirt. He complimented the look with a pair of black leather boots. His simple yet effective take on monochrome fashion has a universal appeal.
We love soft colors on men. Tanzanian pop star Juma Jux seems to be a master at this. Being a great promoter of his fashion brand, the singer wore head to toe African Boy brand. He matched a teal t-shirt with a pair of baby pink pants. For shoes, he went with a pair of white sneakers. He further accessorized with pieces of jewelry, a pair of black sunglasses, and a baseball hat all from his fashion brand as well.
Whether running errands, going to events, or simply living their lives, African male celebrities have to look their best and they always do it in style. This was evident as they stepped out in style last week.
