1. Trevor Noah announces second book

Trevor Noah has penned another book which he says is for all ages. Taking to his Twitter timeline, the comedian shared the book cover as well as its launch date. “I’ve always wanted to write a book for all ages and I’m really excited to announce Into The Uncut Grass will be out on October 31,” he wrote.

According to the website, the book is described as an “illustrated fable about a young child’s journey into the world beyond the shadow of home, a magical landscape where he discovers the secrets of solidarity, connection, and finding peace with the people we love.” Trevor has already written “Born A Crime.”

2. BBNaija Tacha robbed in Paris

Former BBNaija reality star, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, on Monday cried out after being robbed of her belongings in Paris, France. Narrating her experience, Tacha in a post on her Twitter handle, described Paris as the real ghetto. The reality star explained: “I arrived in Paris with three pieces of luggage but two of them were stolen.”

Expressing her displeasure at being robbed, Tacha said “Terrifying, Paris the real ghetto. my shoes, money$, wigs, clothes, and laptop, all GONE. Paris is really GHETTO! How do you steal Two Big Luggage?” Tacha was robbed hours after revealing reasons for not participating in the ongoing BBNaija All-Stars show.

3. South Africa: Cassper Nyovest says he has unreleased music with AKA

Cassper Nyovest recently sat down for an interview on the popular podcast show “The Episode” during the launch event for his new Sprite Limelight campaign. Early in the interview, host Darryl Nyamz explained how whenever he’s in the nightclub hosted by Nyovest, he (Nyamz) has noticed how the aforementioned regularly play AKA’s hit single “Company.” Later in the interview, Nyovest shared how he felt the two would eventually squash their beef. “I thought we were gonna get into the boxing ring and handle it over there. I thought that after that we’d be able to be okay or make music. We actually do have music together that people have never heard. Those are golden songs that maybe Ganja Beatz only have. We made a few records together.”

4. LeBron James’ son, Bronny James reportedly suffers cardiac arrest during USC workout

According to reports, Bronny James, the son of LeBron and Savannah James, was rushed to a hospital after suffering cardiac arrest on Monday, July 24. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” said a spokesman for the rising basketball star and his parents. “He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.” The statement continued, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Bronny was said to be working out at the University of Southern California’s Galen Center at the time. As a No. 19 prospect, the four-star guard announced his commitment to the USC Trojans men’s basketball team back in May via an image on Instagram.

5. Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to Al-Nassr fans after Saudi side draw

As Paris Saint-Germain began their pre-season, they faced Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in a goalless draw. Post-match, Ronaldo took to Instagram with a message for Al-Nassr fans where the five-time Ballon d’Or winner praised the performance of his side against strong opposition. Ronaldo failed to score on the night and had a rather unspectacular outing, however, the Portuguese icon will be sure to turn up as the pre-season continues. Ronaldo captioned his post: “Good performance against a strong team. Pre-season preparations continue!💪🏼 Fantastic welcome from the fans here in Japan 🇯🇵🙌🏼”
