The countries are Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Rwanda, Togo, Georgia, Zambia, Cyprus, Uganda, Ukraine, Tanzania, Qatar, and South Africa. Savage took to social media to express her gratitude to fans, thanking the “WAG family worldwide” for their love and support. 

The movie, which premiered on May 10, sees Savage step into the leading role of Aisha, an ambitious fashion designer forced to return to her Nigerian hometown after a family tragedy. Upon arrival, she finds her once-familiar environment grappling with violence and social tension. Directed by Meji Alabi and co-produced by Savage herself alongside Jimi Adesanya, “Water and Garri” boasts a compelling story and scenic backdrop, filmed in Cape Coast, Ghana.

3. South Africa: Uncle Waffles freestyles on ‘Sway in the Morning’

South African DJ Uncle Waffles surprised fans with her rapping skills during a recent appearance on the legendary radio show “Sway in the Morning.” While known for spinning Amapiano beats that have taken the world by storm, Waffles (real name Lungelihle Zwane) unleashed an unexpected talent as she freestyled over Lil Kim’s classic track “Lighters Up.” A clip shared by Sway himself shows Waffles confidently spitting rhymes, declaring, “Big Waffles, cream of the crop. This phenomenal feat not only secured her victory in the race but also shattered the previous world-leading time of 12.42 seconds set by American Tonea Marshall in April.
