Offset is partnering with the Ann Cephus Family Fund Corporation for the return of his annual Toys 4 The Nawf. Set to take place in Gwinnett, Georgia, on Saturday, December 2, the Christmas charity event aims to surpass the success of 2022’s inaugural gathering. “We had a great turnout last year, and I’m hoping for an even better one this year. I’ve been so blessed this year; I’m excited to bless others. That’s the reason for the season,” Offset shared.
Last year, the rapper supported over 248 families and around 500 children, thanks to the contribution of 85 community volunteers and partnerships with organizations like the Lawrenceville Boys & Girls Club, Alpha Phi Alpha, and Delta Sigma Theta. Donors and sponsors contributed $35,000 in toys and logistics. Subsequently, Gwinnett County officials presented Offset with an honorary key.

Afrobeats superstar, Rema has canceled his scheduled performances for the rest of 2023 to focus on his health. The Mavin Records star has experienced a phenomenal year with many records under his belt, a run recently capped by a show-stopping headline performance at the O2 Arena on November 14. But fans who were hoping to party with him for Detty December will have to wait until next year while he recovers from exhaustion.
“Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. (It’s) been years of touring (and) I’ve ignored my health. I need time to recuperate. 2024, we go again,” he posted on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, November 29. Following successful tours in Europe, Asia, and North America, Rema’s sudden announcement is a big blow for his planned homecoming tour of Abuja, Lagos, and his native Benin in December. He was also billed to perform at the Hey Neighbor Music Festival scheduled to take place between December 8 and December 10 in South Africa.
4. WNBA star Chiney Ogwumike and boxer Raphael Akpejiori get married in lavish wedding ceremonies

Their lavish Nigerian-Western-themed ceremony spanned five days and welcomed approximately 1,000 guests. The traditional African festivities kicked off on Wednesday, November 15, when the couple’s families gathered together before the big day.
Their first ceremony, which honored their Nigerian heritage, was held at the Igbo Catholic Community Center a day later. “Even though we’re both Nigerian, we come from two different cultures within Nigeria. Barcelona loanee, Ansu Fati is staring at a lengthy period on the sidelines after suffering a serious injury with Brighton against Nottingham Forest. Roberto de Zerbi has been handed a double blow before they face AEK Athens in the Europa League on Thursday, as the Spanish forward joined Tariq Lamptey in the treatment room. Fati limped out during the first half at City Ground during a slender 3-2 win over the Tricky Trees after lasting just 21 minutes and could be out for three months. He was replaced by Joao Pedro, who made the most of the opportunity by scoring a brace for the Seagulls.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the AEK fixture, De Zerbi informed them: “Ansu and Lamptey are both injured. We’ve lost them for a long time. The focus is on the players who can play tomorrow. We will have enough to compete. I don’t know if we will win but we will fight to win the game.”
