Mad Over You! Check Out The Post Modern Style Of Multi-Talented Recording Artist RUNTOWN

Nigerian recording artist, singer and rapper Douglas Jack Agu, popularly known by his stage name Runtown, is easily one of Nigeria’s most versatile performers of recent times. With over 2 Million downloads and 3,701 covers worldwide, you best believe that this performer’s ability to provide the best beats with surprising lyrical depth has sure made him a force worth reckoning with.

His ear for good beats and lyrical ability has earned him several award nominations and wins like Nigeria Entertainment Awards – Best Collaboration of The Year (2014), The Headies – Next Rated Act (2015), Nigeria Entertainment Awards – Best Pop Artiste (2015) and several more. But what’s got our spotlight on Runtown is more his style than his music.

When it comes to his style, the ‘Mad Over You’ crooner serves a form of modern and post-modern vibe with jackets, sweatshirts, psuedo-vintage and other athleisure looks. This is quite reminiscent of American artist Kanye West, however, uniquely his. His athleisure-focused street style is so intense that he was made Adidas‘ first African ambassador. With his signature dreadlocks hair ever present, Runtown’s look is almost never complete without his sunglasses which gives off some serious cool vibes for days! Unlike the average man, he doesn’t shy away from bold colours and sure knows how to pair his outfits to further push his brand image.

Check out his unique post-modern cool style…
