Last Week, The Best Dressed Stars Went For Relaxed Glam

African celebrities and top influencers are definitely not taking a break from their style as they keep delivering on looks that leave us totally wowed. Although there are no red carpet events going on, our favorite style stars are still finding good reasons to show off their unique style on and off Instagram.

Style aside, we must all keep in mind that safety is paramount, and with a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic now taking its course, we implore you to continuously mask up if you need to step out of the house. Do not forget to wash your hands frequently or sanitize with an alcohol-based sanitizer if washing your hands is not possible.

Over the weekend, Ghanaian hair boss Mami Gyamfua turned up in the Versace palm print chiffon blouse which she paired with a pair of matching leggings for a monochromatic floral effect. For accessories, she opted for the white Bottega Veneta chain cassette bag and the Tom Ford signature padlock sandals, also in white. Her entire ensemble put us in resort mood and made us long for the long, hot days of summer.

In Nigeria, designer Tolu Bally proved once again that foreign and Nigerian / African brands can be paired flawlessly. She stepped out in outfits designed by her fashion house 2207 by T Bally. The mother of one styled a snakeskin printed top with a spotted black mini skirt and finished off her attire with a voluminous mid-sleeve, sheer kimono with lace trimmings. In an unexpected twist, she snuck up a sporty look with pair of ivory-colored Gucci low-top rhyton calfskin logo sneakers while adding a pop of color to her entire look with a red lady Dior bag. A braided turban which completed her sneaker tone, brought even more drama to look.

The most stylish looks shared on African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them.
