Last Week’s Best Dressed Men Showed That Great Style Never Takes A Break

Even during quieter weeks, when the red carpet rolls out less frequently and major events take a brief pause, style-savvy Black male celebrities prove that fashion is a full-time affair. Whether they’re stepping out for an exclusive launch party, a prestigious film celebration, or even a courtside moment, these men continue to keep the spirit of dressing up alive. With intentionality, flair, and a personal twist on every outfit, they remind us that great style never takes a day off. So, in case you missed them, here’s a look at some of last week’s standout ensembles.

The Looks

At Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Book 2025 launch party, retired NBA star Dwyane Wade delivered a masterclass in understated elegance. Leaning into modern refinement, he wore a tailored Fear of God set, featuring a structured grey coat layered over a crisp white shirt and matching wide-leg trousers. Leather boots grounded the look with quiet sophistication, while a simple lapel pin added just the right amount of polish, elevating the ensemble without disrupting its clean, effortless lines.

Meanwhile, Spike Lee brought his signature blend of classic tailoring and playful energy to the 50th American Film Institute Life Achievement Award ceremony. His fit of choice proved that Black male celebrities of any age can be true fashion trendsetters. Dressed in a bold Louis Vuitton houndstooth-patterned suit peppered with miniature figure motifs, he styled the look with a crisp white shirt, a black beret, and his iconic white-framed glasses. To top it off, a metallic silver Louis Vuitton crossbody bag with a wide logo strap and patterned white sneakers pulled the outfit together seamlessly, once again showcasing that Lee’s fashion sense is as dynamic and creative as his filmmaking.

Elsewhere, Russell Westbrook leaned into a rugged, streetwise aesthetic during Game 2, opting for a denim-on-denim look from his own label, Honor The Gift. He layered a cropped denim jacket over matching parachute-style jeans, then finished the outfit with chunky black combat boots. To elevate the edge even further, he added circular sunglasses and a baseball cap, solidifying his status as a style rebel who isn’t afraid to push boundaries.
