The world we are in right now is made up of fast-paced media and technology which sometimes makes it difficult to sift through all the trends coming at you by the seconds. That’s why every week at Style Rave, we help you tackle all things fashion and all things African celebrities by curating the most rave-worthy styles spotted on African celebrities and top influencers.

Last week, the best dressed African celebrities were all about statement-making looks as they stepped out in rave-worthy style. Africans and their biggest celebrities are taking their style to a whole new level in 2020 and we are so here for it!

It seemed like a red wave swept through the continent as most of the celebrities opted for the shade last week/end. Could this have been influenced by the season of love? We think so.

The original “baby girl 4 life” Toke Makinwa deviated from the colour scheme as she donned a Tolu Bally designed sultry green dress. The dress admittedly is a replica of the iconic Versace dress worn by Jennifer Lopez. South Africa’s Bonang Matheba proved once again that she is the darling of fashion as she glowed in a sexy emerald green number at the Kenilworth Racecourse for the 2020 Sun Met event. Still at the Sun Met, South African actress and model, Nandi Mbatha showed up in a Quiteria Atelier design that broke Instagram into fashionable pieces.

We have curated the best celebrity and influencer looks we believe you should see and it is without a doubt that the ladies on this list put a lot of thought into their looks.

Check out the most rave-worthy looks from this past week of February 2020…
