A passionate writer, self proclaimed chef and lover of music…
New York-born designer and creator of women’s ready-to-wear line A.L.C, Andrea Lieberman has a pioneer spirit. The stylist turned fashion designer has figured that since pre-fall is another term for summer, building a collection with sturdy fabrics like cotton poplin with easy silhouettes is the most realistic step to take.
Andrea Lieberman released a pre-fall collection that is built around vacations, days out on the beach, weddings and casual day outs; basically, all the functions that come with summer.
According to Andrea Lieberman: “All of our customers are really buying in season. We tried to look for fabrics that had a really beautiful integrity and felt seasonally appropriate and expensive.”
Parachute cotton is the main fabric of choice and Andrea made good use of it. The collection features asymmetric dresses, sleek jumpsuits, hardware details, slits, discreet cutouts, tie-dyed cotton, leather and more. The green and blue cotton fabric were bright and fun but they had nothing on neutrals as khaki, black and white fought for a spotlight in the collection.
