50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Trying hit, In Da Club has officially earned diamond status by the RIAA, making it his first track to earn such a distinction. On Wednesday, November 1, the Queens rapper surpassed over 1.2 billion Spotify streams and 1.8 billion YouTube views on its music video. The 2003 single, on average, receives 42 million streams per week worldwide. Fifty celebrated the feat via Instagram by posting the cover art from GRoDT along with a graphic of the diamond certification.

“In Da Club has officially reached Diamond,” the rapper wrote. “10,000,000 singles sold. The 43rd Hip Hop song to go Diamond, 121 songs of all time to do it. I feel good I’m that thing 50cent.” Diamond certification is one of the highest-held certifications. There are only about 120 songs that have had that certification in history.

According to reports, the song spent 57 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The collaboration with Gomez opened the door for the powerful tune to gain massive popularity outside Africa. To date, the top-charting track has secured the Best Afrobeat category at the MTV Video Music Awards, and Rema delivered a live performance of the song during the 2023 Ballon d’Or awards ceremony.

Neymar has undergone successful surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus damage he sustained while on international duty with Brazil. The attacker suffered the injury in a World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay and had the operation on Thursday. It was performed in his homeland by Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar, a doctor of the Brazilian team and Atletico-MG. The star’s father posted a video on Instagram of Neymar in a hospital bed, adding a prayer to the caption. Neymar also posted a message on his social networks. “Everything will be fine,” he wrote, along with a photo of him with his two children.

Despite the successful operation, the 31-year-old is expected to be kept out of action until at least the end of the season. However, Brazil still hopes to have him fit and available to feature at the Copa America in the United States next summer.
