You already know the deal, every week, we take you through a well-curated selection of the most inspiring makeup and hairstyles we fell in love with during the previous week.
Last week, some of our favorite celebrities, influencers and other beauty enthusiasts literally pulled out all the stops for their facial glam and their hairstyles. Among the best beauty looks was ace Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson Akande who was all about serving pink vibes from eyes to lips to match her monochrome pink power suit.
Then there was model Marion Wangechi whose Cleopatra-inspired face glam could easily pass for a magazine cover image. Former Big Brother Nigeria housemate Cynthia “Cee C” Nwadiora brought the “baby girl for life” vibe to the gram with a simple cornrow braided hairstyle while model Didi Stone Olomide brought her modeling skills to play as she rocked a bold blue and purple eye makeup that instantly caught our attention.
These looks are all attention-worthy and one is sure to inspire your next major face beat.
Check out the best beauty looks we spotted last week…
Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson Akande served a refreshing pink look that we fell in love with at first sight.
Last week, Kenyan photographer Lyra Aoko delivered this stunning Cleopatra-inspired look on model Marion Wangechi as conceptualized by celebrity hair stylist Corrine Muthoni. She rocked a bold black and blue winged liner paired with dark red lips which was done by makeup artist Valary Mdeizi. The gold accessories and the bang hairstyle were the perfect finishing to the look.
South African television personality Buhle Samuels is undeniably a selfie queen and we are so here for it. She rocked a nude-inspired face glam that is the perfect look for a girls hangout.
Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro rocked a smokey brown eye makeup look highlighted with gold and we loved every bit of it. The orange-tone lipstick and side parted bob hairstyle worked really well together to create a rave-worthy look.
Influencer and model Didi-Stone Olomide “blue” us away last week in this flirty blue and purple eyeshadow look. She completed the look with glossy peach lips and a set of beautiful accessories that worked well with the entire look.
Photographer Akin Akintola also made our best beauty looks with this barely there makeup look created by makeup artist Ara by Laide on model Ifeoma. An effortless editorial inspiration.
American model Ebonee Davis was a true doll last week as she graced our timeline with a colorful short pixie hairstyle that put a smile on our face. She further adorned her hair with an exotic gold and sea shells ornament that totally sealed the whimsical vibe of her look.
Ex-BBNaija housemate Cynthia Nwadiora served a classical inspiration for every eternal baby girl. The look is so stunning yet so effortless and of course, we love!
London-based Nigerian visual artist / photographer Asiko shared this stunning image from his project which focuses on womanhood crowns. According to him, the look was inspired by the fan shaped hairstyles of the Zande tribe in Congo. The look was recreated by hair stylist Regina Meessen, while Keisha Des Vignes did the makeup and we were simply blown away by the result. Melanin beauty Davinya Cooper rocked the look with a splash of brown eyeshadow looking every bit like the queen she was born to be.
Makeup artist Renny Vasquez blessed the gram last week with this barely there makeup look created on model Tyrie Rudolph. A gorgeous everyday look for the brunette who’s looking to make an effortless statement.
