Certain events call for elevated attire. For example, if you’re attending the ESPY Awards —as many did last week—you better show up dressed in your best-tailored look. The same goes for sitting front row at the WNBA All-Star game. Last week’s most fashionable men embraced method dressing wherever they stepped foot as they honored the events that called for it.
The Looks
While on holiday in Paris, All-Star boxer Floyd Mayweather did shopping in style like he usually does. The Heavyweight Champion visited the Louis Vuitton store in a colorful outfit consisting of a printed Louis Vuitton monogram tie-dye denim shirt with matching tie-dye jeans. For shoes, he opted for a pair of Louis Vuitton Air Force 1 Low. In all, the combination reminded us why he’s a dearly beloved man of style.
We’ve been seeing a sea of pink recently across men’s and women’s fashion partly thanks to the Barbie movie. Last week, soccer player Kellyn Acosta joined the trend. The Los Angeles Football Club player stepped out in a pink Bottega Veneta denim shirt which he matched with a pair of pink Bottega Veneta washed wide-leg denim pants. He added a bit of dark element to the look with a pair of black Bottega Veneta lug lace-up ankle boots.
While Burna Boy has been lauded as one of the greatest performers in Nigeria, his style has also largely been talked about, especially for how he goes against the grain. Last week was no different. The Grammy-winning singer put on an electrifying show wearing an unreleased jacket and washed denim by LVMH Prize finalist Kusikohc. He accessorized with a pair of Bottega Veneta Cangi wraparound sunglasses and completed the ensemble with a pair of Louis Vuitton baroque ranger boots. most fashionable male celebrities
