Last week, African male celebrities showed up and showed out in the style department. We saw even African male celebrities who hardly ever document their style, do so and we are totally here for it. Latest menswear style.
Still living up to his 20th century style fantasy, Nigerian fashion influencer, Akin Faminu, looked dapper in an all black assemble. He matched a pair of cropped black pants with a fitted t-shirt, layering an embroidered coat over the set. For shoes, the consistent influencer went with a pair of black leather boots to make up for the cropped portion of the pants. He further accessorized with gold jewelry and a black fedora hat.
Keeping with the all black theme, South African presenter and model, Gemaen Taylor went ‘noir’ with leather pieces from head to toe. Layering like a boss, he wore a leather utility jacket over a black leather coat. The top ensemble were matched with a pair of fitted leather pants. He finished the look off with a pair of elevated black leather boots and matching sunglasses.
As much as the pandemic has caused a lot of damages globally, we can all agree that African male celebrities have been constantly serving major style inspiration which has somehow kept us hopeful for better days ahead. Last week was not an exception, and we have the pictures to prove it.
