Last Week, The Best Beauty Looks Served Sauce And Sass

black-beauty-looks-stylerave

Last week, some of our favorite black celebs raised the bar for creativity in the beauty scene with a variety of striking looks. The best beauty looks served enough sauce and sass to steal our hearts and inspire our own glam routines.

Hair

It goes without saying that curls hold a magnificent and powerful identity, and last week Tracee Ellis Ross was a very radiant proof.  The Hollywood actress’ free-flowing hairdo gave off an ethereal feel as she owned her natural mixed afro texture with ease. Similarly gleaming up the hairstyle territory with some curly goodness, Nigerian singer-songwriter Yemi Alade shook things up with a captivating side afro bun.

Also popping up in the natural hairstyle milieu, locs came out to play. While Chloe Bailey flawlessly rocked hers down in an edgy shot that relayed nothing short of cool vibes, South African actress and dancer Bontle Modiselle adorned hers with a dashing tiara.

Makeup

Who doesn’t love a bold lip moment? Definitely not Saweetie! The American rapper and singer-songwriter’s red lip stain had us swooning. She looked ultra-sexy as she posed for a collaborative sunglasses campaign with QuayAustralia. And on the muted side of makeup this season, Nigerian designer Teni Sagoe was a vision to behold as she had us screaming skin goals! It’s safe to say the co-founder of Nigerian modern ready-to-wear fashion brand, CLAN delivered some effortless black girl magic.

Glazing up our feed but in a full face beat, Sydney J Harper let her eyes do all the talking with a gold cut crease. Coupled with wispy lashes and peach glossy lips, the American model’s sun kissed look was an easy hit. In the same vein, Nollywood actress and latest fashion designer on the block, Beverly Naya came through in nude tones. From her shimmery but subtle eye makeup to the gold undertones on her face, she looked too fabulous for words.

We’ve got you covered with even more beauty looks to revere.
